Join Madison Multisport this fall for a FUN ‘off-season’ run training program, for the first timer gearing up for a 5K to the seasoned athlete looking to take their running to the next level.
This two month program will help you prepare for the fall race of your choice, from the turkey gobbling Berbee Derby to the sleigh bell ringing Jingle Bell Run.
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
A complete training plan to help you prepare for your fall running event. These training plans include coached workouts to keep you motivated and group training to push you to perform at your best. A strong emphasis will be placed on proper run form development, ‘cross training’ activities, and having fun in the fall. This is an ideal group training environment to help you reach your fall running goals!
DATES:
October 2- December 1
SCHEDULE:
Tuesdays @ 6:00pm
- Strong focus on run technique development through incorporation of form drills
- Tempo and track sessions to boost your overall speed and run performance
Thursdays @ 6:00pm
FUN activities/classes that may include but are not limited to:
- Kettle bell
- Crossfit
- Yoga
- Pilates
- Zumba
- Indoor Climbing Gym
- Scavenger Hunt
- Rowing
- TRX
Saturdays @ 7:30am
We’ll take a tour of Madison’s best coffee shops to host our weekly long runs. Long runs will be designed in accordance with your race distance goals.
LOCATION: We will be using a variety of Madison venues that best fit with our goals for the workout. Practices will be held in Madison, Verona, Fitchburg and Middleton.
FEES: Get a 9 week training plan, including coached run n fun sessions, for just $250. A few additional fees for special activities may apply. If these fees do not fit within your family budget, please contact Coach Justin individually.
