Madison Open Water Swim – August 22, 2009
1.2 mile and 2.4 mile open water swim
Lake Monona

Carolyn- Finished 3rd place in her age division, completing the 2.4 mile swim in 1:03 (no wetsuit).
Meistro- Placed 8th (top 25%) in his age group with a 1:11 finish time (no wetsuit).

St Paul Triathlon – August 23, 2009
International Distance –  1 mile swim, 40K bike, 10K run

Brodie- Setting a new Olympic distance PR to claim 2nd place in his division and 11th place overall.  And, the personal satisfaction of crossing the finish line ahead of Lauren.
Lauren- Champ!  She put together a perfect race, with a solid swim, the fastest bike, and one of the quickest runs to move into first and claim victory at the finish line.
